Director of Fund Development
Prior to joining Girl Scouts of North East Ohio in 2010, Brenda served as a fund development consultant for non-profit organizations. Some clients from her portfolio include Indian Valley Foundation, LifeCare.com, National Center for Family Literacy and more.
She has also worked as the Director of External Affairs for the Lawrence School in Broadview Heights, Ohio. In St. Louis, MO she served as a Program Officer for the Danforth Foundation, and as the Executive Director of Parkway School Disctrict Education Foundation.
While in St. Louis, she founded the Teen Outreach Program; a nationwide program that significantly increases high school graduation rates and prevents pregnancy among at-risk teens.
Brenda received her Bachelor of Arts in Education from Bluffton College in Bluffton, Ohio. She has a Lifetime Certificate for Vocational Family and Consumer Sciences from the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education.
Brenda lives in Broadview Heights with her husband Bill and enjoys spending time with their children.
