Chief Financial Officer
John received his Bachelor of Science in Accountancy and Master of Accounting Science from the University of Illinois - Urbana and received his Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certificate while in graduate school. He began a career as a CPA in public practice in for-profit and non-profit corporations. Most recently, he was Chief Administrative Officer of the Legal Aid Society of Cleveland where he was in charge of finance, information technology, human resources and property management.
John is the author of several books on information technology published by the American Institute of CPAs and has addressed accounting groups across the country on information technology topics. He received the Trailblazer in Technology Award from the accounting industry publication, Accounting Today.
John is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and is active in non-profit organizations, most recently as Chairman of the Portage County Mental Health and Recovery Board and has served in Ohio as Treasurer of United Way of Portage County and President of United Christian Ministries in Kent, Ohio.
John and his wife Penny live in Kent, Ohio.
