Lizbeth started her career as a Girl Scout, by attending resident camp at Camp Hilaka in 1983. As an adult she became a volunteer leader with Girl Scouts Overseas while stationed in the United Kingdom with her husband. Upon returning to Ohio, Lizbeth quickly became involved with Girl Scouts as a troop leader and a service team leader. Lizbeth increased her involvement by becoming a site monitor and a Master Trainer. Many adults and girls have participated in one of over one hundred classes facilitated by Lizbeth, including Outdoor Essentials, Keys to Leadership, Outdoor Cooking, Tie Dyeing, Program Aid Training and Girl Scout Resources on the Web. Most recently, Lizbeth served as a Chief Delegate for the Central region, as a member of the Board Development Committee, as volunteer on a number of Process Improvement Committees and on the Vision 2012 committee.
Before joining GSNEO, Lizbeth Kohler was CEO of the Medina County Board of REALTORS. In this capacity, she managed operations of the real estate trade association. Lizbeth attended the University of Maryland beginning in 1994. She earned her Associates in Arts degree in 1997. In 2007 she became a certified mediator for the National Association of REALTORS. In 2008, she earned her RCE (REALTOR Certified Executive) designation through the National Association of REALTORS.
Lizbeth lives in Southern Medina County with her husband, Jonathan and her dogs, Gonzo and Gidget.
