Camp Ledgewood

Peninsula, Ohio

Camp Ledgewood covers 350 acres of rolling woodland in the boundaries of the Cuyahoga Valley National Park. It has nine heated cabins, three tent units, and four Adirondack units. Primitive campsites are available at Camp Ledgewood, as well as shelters and buildings for day outings. A two-acre lake and a swimming pool add to the beauty of the site. Camp Ledgewood was established in 1931 and has provided thousands of girls the opportunity to grow in a thriving outdoor environment.

Low Lodge

Handicap accessible dining hall with complete institutional kitchen. Lodge has indoor water, electricity and toilets. Capacity: 200

Lemen Lodge

A handicapped accessible, year-round heated cabin with 32 bunk beds, indoor water, seasonal toilet, electricity and fireplace. Additional latrines located outside. Capacity: 32

Hunsicker

A year-round cabin site with kitchen, 24 bunk beds, fireplace, indoor water. Outside latrines. Capacity: 24

Seiberling

A year-round cabin site having kitchen and fireplace. Mattresses available. Outside latrines. Capacity: 22

Thornapple

A year-round cabin site having kitchen, indoor water and electricity, fireplace and 22 bunk beds. Outside latrines. Capacity: 22

Chalet

A year-round cabin site having kitchen, indoor water, electricity and fireplace. Mattresses available. Outside latrines. Capacity: 20

Chestnut Burr

A year-round, handicap accessible, cabin site with indoor water, electricity, fireplace, 16 bunk beds, kitchen, seasonal shower and toilet. Outside latrines. Capacity: 16

A year-round cabin site with indoor water, electricity, 20 bunk beds, kitchen and fireplace. Outside latrines. Capacity: 20

Cotter B

A year-round cabin site with indoor water, electricity, 20 bunk beds, kitchen and fireplace. Outside latrines. Capacity: 20

McAlonan

A year-round cabin site with indoor water, electricity, kitchen and fireplace. Mattresses available. Outside latrines. Capacity: 25

Shield's House

A year-round farm house site. House has indoor water and electricity. Outside latrines. Capacity: 16

Caravan

Caravan has 7 tent units and a kitchen shelter. Lighting is available in the shelter. Outdoor fire rings, outside water, seasonal showers and latrines available. Capacity: 28

Oaks

Oaks has 7 tent units and a kitchen shelter. Lighting is available in the shelter. Outdoor fire rings, outside water, seasonal showers and latrines available. Capacity: 28

Thicket

Thicket has 5 tent units, one adirondack and a kitchen shelter. Lighting is available in the shelter. Outdoor fire rings, outside water, seasonal showers and latrines available. Capacity: 24

Pioneer

A primitive site with fireplace. Outdoor water seasonally available. Outdoor latrines. Pitch your own tents or rent ours. Capacity: 16

Valley's Edge

Valley's Edge has 6 adirondacks and a kitchen shelter. Lighting and water is available in the shelter. Outdoor fire rings, seasonal showers and latrines available. Capacity: 24

Woodland

Woodland has 9 adirondacks and a kitchen shelter. Lighting and water is available in the shelter. Outdoor fire rings, seasonal showers and latrines available. Capacity: 36 Woodland- shelter

Pine Hollow

Pine Hollow has 8 adirondacks and a kitchen shelter. Lighting and water is available in the shelter. Outdoor fire rings, seasonal showers and latrines available. Capacity: 28

Wilderness Ridge

Pine Hollow has 7 adirondacks and a kitchen shelter. Outdoor fire rings, seasonal showers and latrines available. Capacity: 24

Shield's Shelter

This kitchen shelter may be used for day hikes and primitive camping. Water is available near the shelter. Outdoor latrine. Pitch your own tents or rent ours. Capacity: check with registration.

Center Circle Shelter

Picnic shelter with electricity. Capacity: 30

Memorial Pavilion
