Host a Cookies & Milk Break

The cookies and milk break is a great opportunity to assist girls in meeting their program goals for the Girl Scout Cookie Sale.

Employers from small businesses to large corporations may sponsor a Cookies and Milk Break as a way to say thank you to their employees and to show support for the Girl Scouts.

The cookies served to the employees are purchased from, and served by, local Girl Scouts.  The girls will also have a cookie booth set up with additional cookies available to purchase.

Indicate your top three date preferences between March 1 and March 17, 2013.

We will match your company with a local Girl Scout troop that will contact you to confirm the details for your Cookies and Milk Break.  Late afternoon works best for troops, as it presents least conflict with school schedules.

Pre-order the cookies to be served at the Cookies and Milk Break from the troop.  Plan on purchasing several of each of the eight varieties so that your employees have an opportunity to sample them all.  We suggest that the employer make arrangements to provide a beverage to be served with the cookies. Payment for your pre-order will be made directly to the troop.

Please promote the event internally to your employees and make them aware that cookies will be available for purchase ($3.50 per box)  You may request cookie art and a Girl Scout logo by emailing marketing@gsneo.org.

On the day of your Cookies and Milk Break, please provide a table for the girls to set up their booth.  The troop will bring its own materials for the booth and serving supplies.
