Embrace Yourself - Embrace Your Dreams
PARTNERING FOR SUCCESS
Since 2012, Girl Scouts of North East Ohio has provided a leadership development program to more than 100 talented KWLA participants, with the financial support of the KeyBank Foundation. Many of the women were Girl Scout Volunteers and others were new to the organization - all of them have grown and developed their leadership skills while becoming more engaged in empowering girls to reach their full potential.
DEVELOPING LEADERS who develop our future leaders
Volunteers are the backbone of the Girl Scout Movement. Our dedicated team of volunteers help in every aspect of the organization from programs and communications, to fund development and special events, from operational positions, to serving the front lines of building girls of courage, confidence, and character, who make the world a better place.
At Girl Scouts of North East Ohio, our leadership development programs are proven. Our results documented. We provide women with an affordable program that helps them identify their personal leadership style, practice conflict resolution and problem solving techniques, and develop best practices to deliver the Girl Scout Leadership Experience (GSLE).
At Girl Scouts of North East Ohio, we focus on not only the qualities and skills one has, but also how those qualities and skills are used to make a difference. That's why the KWLA curriculum is designed to assist participants in identifying and connecting their skills and strengths to specific roles within Girl Scouts of North East Ohio at either the organizational or youth level.
Girl Scouts of North East Ohio is committed to engaging more volunteers, enhancing leadership development programs for girls, and strengthening our ability to help girls reach their full potential. Knowledeable and skilled volunteers have the ability to offer the highest quality leadership experienec for girls while staying safe and having fun at the same time.
