World Thinking Day in Strongsville

Strongsville Service Unit 715 held its annual World Thinking Day at the Strongsville Recreation Center. More than 300 Girl Scouts participated. To celebrate this year's theme "End Extreme Poverty and Hunger," the Girl Scouts donated over 500 pantry items to the Strongsville Food Bank and $300 was donated to the Red Cross-International Relief Fund for Haiti. ...

Quarrystone's World Thinking Day

Troop #50774 from the Quarrystone Service Unit held a World Thinking Day celebration for 19 troops at Camp Timberlane. Since the theme this year was "Together we can help end extreme hunger and poverty," all troops entered the program with canned goods for Harvest for Hunger and nickels collected the past two months by doing a good turn daily....
