100th Anniversary Volunteers Needed!

Program Committee

The primary responsibility of the Program Committee for the 100th Anniversary is to plan and carry out quality programming for our Girl and Adult Membership to celebrate the 100th Anniversary of Girl Scouts.

• "Girl Scouts through the Decades" monthly programs
• Camporee/Homecoming

“Forever Green” Community Service Projects Committee

The primary responsibility of the Forever Green Community Service Project is to implement a major project to preserve the environment for the next 100 years that involves all Girl Scouts.

• Towpath trails project and celebration culminating at the end of the anniversary year
• Projects at the Service Unit level
• Forever Green seedlings
  
  

History and Heritage Committee

This committee is responsible for educating members and the public on the past, present, and future of Girl Scouting.

• Display artifacts
• (May include historical fashion show)
  
  

Anniversary Celebration of Events Committee

This committee is responsible for planning and promoting a variety of celebrations for members and the community to kickoff the beginning of GirlsScouts’ anniversary year and Birthday Week.

• Dessert First/100th Anniversary Gala
• Bridge Crossing
• Additional weekend events during Birthday Week
  
  

Fundraising Committee

This committee is responsible for attracting high levels of new revenue streams and to sustain much of that support into the future.
