Volunteer Resource Guide Now Available!

Here are some highlights of what is included in this resource:

SAFETY-WISE - Chapter 4 along with the Activity Checkpoints are regarding as the new Safety-Wise resources.  Please review the new transportation guidelines in this chapter.   The blue Safety-Wise book will no longer be printed.  As a reminder, all volunteers and girls should consult Safety-Wise for all activities within Girl Scouting.

Troop Module - This resource is Appendix I in the VRG.  It include the steps to beginning  a troop, how to conduct a parent meeting, how to organize a troop meeting and resources.

Travel Module - This section includes guidelines for tips for traveling with girls, requirements  for traveling with girls, Girl Scout insurance, and trip progression.

Policies - As always, the GSNEO Volunteer Policies and the Financial Policies are included in the VRG

Quick Start Guide - Also new this year is the Quick Start Guide.  This section give GSNEO and GSUSA information that is important to a new first time volunteer.
