The annual cookie sale is part of the Girl Scout Financial Literacy Program - the largest entrepreneurial program for girls in the country. Each year's cookie program includes age-appropriate educational materials that teach girls these important skills:

- Budgeting
- Financial Responsibility
- Social Communication
- Teamwork
- Self-Confidence
- Community Awareness
- Philanthropy

In addition to financial assistance needed to make time-honored Girl Scout programs available to all girls throughout Northeast Ohio; Cookie revenue helps with recruitment and training of adult volunteers who are so critical to the Girl Scout Movement and its success; helps us maintain our camps and outdoor education facilities and allows us to sponsor special events and projects.
ALL OF THE PROCEEDS -- EVERY PENNY -- generated from cookie activities stay in and support Girl Scouting in your area, including the portion that goes directly to the troop/group selling the cookies.
