ESSAY CONTEST!

Win an iPod Shuffle and a Radio Disney Prize Pack

ELIGIBILITY

Entrants must be 18 years of age or younger at the time of entry.  Open to all girls, both Girl Scouts and non-members.

HOW AND WHEN TO ENTER

Submit an essay answering the question; “Girl Scouts is turning 100 in 2012. Looking at the next one hundred years, what will Girl Scouting look like at its Bicentennial Anniversary?”

• Contestants must submit their essay to Marketing@gsneo.org with the subject “Girl Scout Essay.”  Include your name, age, a parent/guardian name, and phone number.
• Entries remain the property of Sponsor(s) and will not be returned or acknowledged.
• Essays must be received by 5pm, Monday, August 15, 2011.

HOW AND WHEN WINNERS WILL BE SELECTED AND NOTIFIED

Three (3) total Grand Prize winners will be selected based on four (4) areas of criteria; Effectiveness/Theme, Style/Clarity, Creativity, and Spelling/Grammar. Winners will be selected by Monday, August 29, 2011.

One (1) Grand Prize winner will be selected from each group; (Daisy/Brownie, Junior/Cadet, and Senior/Ambassador or corresponding ages) by a judging panel comprised of management of Girl Scouts of North East Ohio. Response to winner notification must be received by Sponsor within 10 business days or the prize will be forfeited and may be awarded to an alternate winner drawn at random from among the remaining valid entries.

• Limit one prize per winner for this contest.
• Odds of winning depend on number of valid entries received.

• Many will enter, only three (3) will win.

PRIZE(S)

Each Grand Prize Winner will receive an iPod Shuffle and “Radio Disney Prize Pack” (collectively, “Grand Prize”). Approximate retail value of Grand Prize is $150.00.
