Zips and Flashes to wear green on Girl Scout Day

Macedonia --   There will be a sea of green where sports fans are used to seeing blue and gold.  Girl Scouts of North East Ohio (GSNEO) is celebrating the 100th anniversary of Girl Scouts this fall with "Girl Scout Day" at Kent State University and The University of Akron.  The cheerleaders, dance/spirit team, women's volleyball team and men's soccer team will be wearing green accessories to show their support for Girl Scouts.

Special Girl Scout promotions are planned for each football game in the stadium, on the field, and on the digital score board.  Everyone is encouraged to wear GREEN!  Visit gsneo.org to learn how Girl Scouts, their families, alumnae, and volunteers who wear their uniform or Girl Scout apparel can receive discounted tickets to these events:
