For her Girl Scout Gold Award project, Nina is planning an Ohio Native Nature Garden at the Learning Resource Center (LRC) at Ft. Island, Griffith Park – Fairlawn. Nina is also creating an inside Interactive Information Board that will have fun facts about each of the plants.  The board will be portable for Ms. Warner, the Naturalist to carry to classes and schools - and will be available at the LRC for hands-on learning for all who come to visit the center. Her goal is to sell 1,000 boxes of Girl Scout Cookies to help fund her project.
