Girls Scouts...Come one, come all to a Circus Spectacular. 

Join the Dancing Wheels Company & School on Saturday, May 11 for the world premiere of the new story book ballet Dumbo.

This modern interpretation of the classic children's story Dumbo will take you on an emotional journey somewhere between fantasy and reality. Choreographed by David Rousseve for The Dancing Wheels Company, the backdrop for the dance is a school somewhere in America. The story of a teenage girl unfolds to reveal the trauma and triumph she experiences when bullied and ostracized for her differences.  It is not until the teenage girl and Dumbo meet in a fantastical dream sequence that she can embrace her differences.  The brilliant musical score, over-sized puppetry and multi-media dance make this story ballet of conquering adversity appropriate for audiences of all ages.

Be sure to stay after the performance for Dumbo’s Circus Celebration party. There will be lots of fun for children of all ages!

Lion King Girl Scout One Day Extravaganza

See the show and enjoy a day filled with workshops, activities and fun!  GSNEO is partnering with PlayhouseSquare to offer this once in a lifetime event. 
Work with local artist, Mary Anne Nagel, to explore acting and movement,  enjoy a matinee viewing of Disney’s The Lion King and participate in an exclusive post-show chat*.
Bring a bag lunch.  Girls are encouraged to create and come in Lion King-themed costume.
Price includes Balcony seating. Free Girl Scout Tickets for Tuesday Musical Performance at EJ Thomas Hall

Tuesday Musical Association (TMA) in Akron is offering free concert tickets to Girl Scouts, and a discount ticket of $10 for accompanying adults. TMA concerts are most appropriate for middle, secondary, college and home-schooled students. Seating is in either the Grand Tier or Balcony section of EJ Thomas Hall. To receive a season schedule parents need to call the TMA office at 330.761.3460 or click here to downlaod instuctions, season schedule, and vouchers. To receive concert tickets, students are required fill out a student voucher and redeem it for a concert ticket the night of the concert. Vouchers will be also available the night of the concert at the Student Ticket Table located in the EJ Thomas Ticket Lobby or can be requested from the TMA office. The Student Ticket Table opens 1 hour and 15 minutes before the performance and closes 10 minutes prior to the concert.
