Discover ways to share your experience and knowledge of Girl Scouting with younger girls! Program Aides work directly with younger girls assisting adult program coordinators. This training is filled with hands-on activities to give you the skills to assist in managing groups of girls and engaging them in fun activities. Learn what to expect from different ages, understand the importance of Girl Scout safety guidelines, and explore the Journey leader guides. Attend both training days to complete the course - the overnight stay is optional. Prerequisite: Complete an L.I.A. prior to attending PA Training. Troop adults do not attend this program.
The program starts at 5:30 PM on Friday, December 7 and ends at 5:00 PM on Saturday, December 8.
The overnight stay is optional -- and I anticipate the first day to end about 10 pm and the second day to start by 8am.
Most girls choose to stay the night -- and this is definitely preferred for team building, idea sharing, and FUN, etc... -- but is not required if a girl does not want to stay.
The total cost for the program is $25 per girl.
Adult Volunteer facilitators provide the safety-wise ratio for this program and other adult chaperones do not register for or attend the program.
