Dear valued partner,
As we embark on the next century Girl Scouts, we want to ensure that every girl in Northeast Ohio has the opportunity to reach her fullest potential. An investment in Girl Scouting is broader than a cause or a cure. It's a commitment to a generation.
Please consider becoming a partner in building brighter futures through one of our sponsorship opportunities with a full range of benefits, including advertising in the special Girl Scout insert in the October 2013 editions of Cleveland Magazine, Ohio Magazine, Inside Business and the Sunday edition of the New York Times. Plus, you may also reach our 54,000 members through our marketing and public relations initiatives, Girl Scout publications, and our signature events.
Our insert, entitled The Next Century of Girl Scouting, will be produced by Great Lakes Publishing. It will tell stories as diverse as the Girl Scout membership itself. You might be surprised to learn that Girl Scouting is more than cookies, camping and crafts. We want our communities to know that we are building tomorrow’s leaders who will have the courage, confidence, and character to make the world a better place.
Did you know that every year Girl Scouts provide millions of hours of direct service to communities? When a Girl Scout from Copley learned that emancipated teens needed help transitioning to life on their own, she collected 10 truckloads of household and hygiene items and worked with Summit County Children Services to get the donations delivered to the young adults. Girl Scouts have also cleaned the beaches of Lake Erie to keep debris from killing wildlife. These girls know that reversing environmental threats and improving the quality of life will be the work of their generation.
One girl can make a difference; girls together can change the world. But we can't do it alone. We need your help to get her there. Please contact me with any questions you may have regarding the enclosed partnership proposal at 330-983-0400.
Yours in Girl Scouting,
