Discover ways to share your experience and knowledge of Girl Scouting with younger girls! Program Aides work directly with younger girls in assisting adult program coordinators. This training is filled with hands-on activities to teach you the skills to assist in managing girls and engaging them in fun activities. Learn what to expect from different ages, understand the importance of Girl Scout safety guidelines and explore the Journey facilitator guides.
This training meets the requirements of the Council-designed leadership course for the PA Award. For requirements see pg. 30 of the Handbook in the Girl's Guide to Girl Scouting. Prerequisite: Complete an LiA (Leader in Action) prior to attending PA Training.
NOTE: This is a 2-day program with an optional overnight. Girls must attend both program days to complete the training. This is a GIRLS ONLY program, adults do not register or attend.
