Cadette Camp Craze

On October 23rd, come to camp for our new Cadette Camp Craze! Girls who were Cadettes may sign up for the team with the schedule they like best and spend the day at camp ziplining, painting vinyl records, practicing your archery skills, outdoor cooking, and so much more! Your schedule will include four sessions, you'll pick the one you like the best! A snack will be provided, attendees must pack a lunch. See below to find the complete Team Schedule matrix.

FAQs

What are the COVID-19 Guidelines?

Per safety regulations and GSNEO guidelines, temperatures will be taken upon arrival at Camp Ledgewood. Girl Scouts with a temperature of 100 degrees Fahrenheit or more will not be allowed to stay at camp.

Girl Scouts will choose a team during registration. Teams are limited to 15 Girl Scouts. They will travel with their team throughout the program.

All participants and volunteers must wear masks for the duration of the program. Surfaces and equipment will be sanitized between uses.

What Should my Girl Scout Bring?

Attendees should dress for the weather, wear closed-toe shoes, and bring a water bottle, packed lunch, day bag. If your schedule includes canoeing, a towel or extra set of clothing is recommended. If your schedule includes tie-dye, please bring an item to dye, no larger than a t-shirt. If your schedule includes stain-glass t-shirt, please bring a t-shirt, recommended color is a dark/black shirt.

Girl Scouts will carry their lunch with them until lunchtime. Please keep in mind that refrigeration and microwaves are not provided when deciding what to bring for lunch.

Can my Girl Scout Bring a Friend?

Girl Scouts may attend with a Girl Scout buddy, but keep in mind space is limited in each team. Girl Scouts on different teams will not overlap, so your Girl Scout has an opportunity to make some new friends! Cadette Camp Craze is not a troop event.

Do I need to chaperone my Girl Scouts at Cadette Camp Craze?

Only volunteers and participants may stay at camp for the duration of the program. If you are interested in becoming a volunteer, email nlane@gsneo.org for more information! Volunteer space is limited, first come first serve, volunteers will not be placed in the same group as their Girl Scout.

Cadette Camp Craze is a drop-off event. Participants will be supervised by program facilitators and volunteers stationed around camp.

How Much Will This Program Cost?

Cadette Camp Craze is $65 per participant. This price includes your Cadette's program supplies and snack.

Are There Any Extra Requirements?

Please be aware of the weight requirements for High Ropes (55-250lb) and Zip (70-250lb). Participants will be weighed prior to their High Ropes or Zip program. Weights are taken discreetly and not announced or recorded. High Ropes and Zip require long pants (jeans recommended) and closed-toe shoes (sneakers recommended). Hiking sandals are not permitted as proper footwear on the High Ropes or Zip Line courses.
