Girl Scout Day at Cleveland Metroparks Zoo

Put on your Girl Scout gear and take advantage of all Cleveland Metroparks Zoo has to offer, including Asian Highlands, African Elephant Crossing, the Rosebrough Tiger Exhibit, and the RainForest! 

Check out the make and take craft at the Palava Hut and various photo booth stations around the zoo, where you can get silly and take pictures throughout the day!

Girls who renewed their memberships by June 14, 2023 qualified for free tickets to this event.  Tickets will be mailed to your Girl Scout's troop leader in August or early September and/or to homes of girls who are registered Juliette Girl Scouts. Complimentary tickets can be used only for GIRL admission to the zoo and are non-transferrable . All other attendees must purchase a ticket to the zoo.

Discount tickets can be purchased online- Tuesday, August 22 through Tuesday, September 12 at 11:59 pm:

  • Guests ages 2 and over: $13.50
  • Guests under 2: Free

Tickets must be purchased online or at the ticket plaza on or after Wednesday, September 13:

  • Adult Tickets (Age 12+) $19.00
  • Senior Tickets (62+) $17.00
  • Junior Tickets (2-11) $15.00
  • Guests under 2: Free    

We’re so excited to celebrate the new Girl Scout year and we’d love for you to join us in the fun! Need more tickets for friends and family? We’ve got you covered. Additional tickets can be purchased in advance at a significant discount directly from the zoo website. Regular priced general admission tickets will be available on the day of the event at the ticket plaza.

Step 1: Click here or visit the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo's homepage, then select “Buy Tickets” and "Purchase Zoo General Admission Tickets"

Step 2: Scroll to special event portion "I Have a Promo Code" field, enter the desired number of tickets and click "Continue".  

Step 3: Enter coupon code “GSNEO2023” and click “Apply."  

NOTE: To purchase tickets, first-time users must create an account with an email address and password

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

Want to be even closer to the fun? Volunteer for the day. Volunteers will help to greet guests, facilitate activity stations, and share Girl Scout information. Volunteer for half the day, and enjoy all the zoo has to offer before or after your volunteer shift. 

Volunteer shifts will be 8:30 AM to 1:00 PM  and 12:30 PM to 5:00 PM. Click on the time that works best for you to sign up. Volunteers will check-in at the GSNEO tent at either of the Zoo entrances where you will receive a volunteer vest, your Zoo ticket, $5 snack voucher, and confirmation of where you are stationed.

A short pre-event webinar meeting will be scheduled on September 13 at 12:00 PM and 7:00 PM to give you more details for the day. Click on the times to register for the time that best fits your schedule. All registered volunteers will receive an email with details for joining the webinar.
