Girl Scout Day at Cleveland Metroparks Zoo

See you at the zoo!

Put on your Girl Scout gear and take advantage of all Cleveland Metroparks Zoo has to offer, including Asian Highlands, African Elephant Crossing, the Rosebrough Tiger Exhibit and the RainForest! Special activities like animal shows, zoo keeper talks and fun photo stations will be available throughout the day!  Girl Scout activities this year will focus on the Art in the Outdoors badges.  

Girls who registered during Spring Renewal qualified for free tickets to this event.  Tickets will be mailed to your Girl Scout's troop leader in early September.  Complimentary tickets can be used only for GIRL admission to the zoo and are non-transferable.  All other attendees must purchase a ticket to the zoo.

We’re so excited to celebrate the new Girl Scout year and we’d love for you to join us in the fun!  Need more tickets for friends and family?  We’ve got you covered.  Additional tickets can be purchased in advance at a significant discount directly from the zoo website.  Regular priced general admission tickets will be available on the day of the event at the ticket plaza.

Discount tickets can be purchased online through Tuesday, September 17 at 11:59 pm:
  Guests ages 2 and over: $7.00
  Guests under 2: Free

Tickets purchased online or at the ticket plaza on or after Tuesday, September 17, 11:59 pm:
  Adult Tickets (Age 12+) $14.95
  Junior Tickets (2-11) $10.95
  Senior Tickets (62+) $12.95
    

Discount tickets for family and friends are available to purchase on-line only from Thursday, August 1 until Tuesday, September 17, 2019 at 11:59 pm for $7.00:

Step 1: Click here or visit the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo's homepage, then select “Buy Tickets” and "Purchase Zoo General Admission Tickets" 

Step 2: Enter coupon code “GSNEO2019” and click “Go."  

Step 3: Scroll to special event portion "GSNEO Special Event (2 and Over)  Valid on September 21, 2019 ONLY" and enter the desired number of tickets.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

Want to be even closer to the fun?  Volunteer for the day.  Volunteers will help to greet guests, facilitate activity stations, and share Girl Scout information.  Volunteer for half the day, and enjoy all the zoo has to offer before or after your volunteer shift.  Sign up directly with our Event Volunteer calendar for the morning shift  (8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.) or afternoon shift (12:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.) Volunteers will check-in at the GSNEO tent at either of the Zoo entrances. There you will get a volunteer vest, your Zoo ticket, $5 snack voucher, and confirmation of where you are stationed. A short pre-event webinar meeting will be scheduled on September 16 at 12:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. to give you more details for the day. Click on the times to register for the that best fits your schedule. All registered volunteers will receive an email with details for joining the webinar.
