Girl Scouts of North East Ohio (GSNEO) and Acme Fresh Market are joining forces to make Girl Scouting more accessible to girls throughout Northeast Ohio, while also supporting wow-worthy, leadership experiences for all of its members.
Acme Fresh Market awarded GSNEO with a generous gift that will be used to fund Girl Scout memberships, camperships, uniforms, as well as council-sponsored leadership experiences, large scale member events, and volunteer trainings.
“We enthusiastically support the exceptional leadership and many dedicated volunteers of the Girl Scouts in their mission to make the world a better place – one girl at a time,” said Katie Swartz, Vice President of Marketing at Acme Fresh Market.
For more than a century, Girl Scouts and Acme Fresh Market have each contributed to the incredible potential of communities throughout Northeast Ohio – improving not only individual lives but the fabric of society overall.
“We are thrilled to be the beneficiary of this strategic partnership,” said Jane Christyson, Chief Executive Officer of GSNEO. “You can’t underestimate how important it is for girls to face the world with a belief in their own abilities and without fear of limitations. This partnership will help us expand innovative programming, STEM and outdoor activities, and opportunities for girls to think like entrepreneurs.”
