We don’t want finances to ever exclude families from Girl Scouts.
Scoutship is a discount available for Girl Scouts of North East Ohio youth members to assist families with the cost of Girl Scout uniforms, council-sponsored events, and summer camp. Eligibility is determined through the online application and is impacted by household income, household size, and previous product sale participation.
Each year, Scoutship applications open on August 1 for the new membership year, and close on June 1. Application processing time can depend on current volume, and is typically completed within one week of receipt.
We can still help with Scoutship for Summer Camp only in June & July – just contact customercare@gsneo.org.
Need assistance with Girl Scouts Annual Membership fee?
Every girl everywhere can be a Girl Scout, regardless of her caregiver’s ability to pay for membership!
Membership assistance is easy:
- While joining new or renewing membership, just select Financial Aid as the payment option.
- Please check with your girl's troop leader first. Troops often decide to renew all members using funds earned from the product programs, or through other approved money-earning activities.
The Financial Aid option for membership is only available for youth members. If you need assistance or have questions, please reach out to customercare@gsneo.org.
