Uniforms

Girl Scouts may choose to wear their uniforms at meetings or at Girl Scout events to:

Make them easily identifiable to each other and to the public

Reinforce the sense of belonging to the Girl Scout Movement.

A Girl Scout is proud to wear her uniform because it symbolizes the high ideals for which Girl Scouting stands.

An official sash or vest worn with a white shirt and khaki pants is required when girls participate in ceremonies or officially represent the Girl Scout movement in any capacity.

The official uniform for adults is:

  • Navy blue business attire
  • Girl Scout scarf
  • Membership pins for women and the Girl Scout Service Mark tie for men
