Resources for the 2027 Cookie Program will be available late October 2026

The Girl Scout Cookie Program is the largest girl-led entrepreneurial program in the world. Through it, Girl Scouts learn lifelong skills while earning fun rewards and troop proceeds to fuel their adventures.

Meet the 5 Essential Business skills

Girl Scouts in the program build skills and learn to think like entrepreneurs. The Cookie Program helps Girl Scouts develop real-world skills in 5 essential areas:

Cookie Program Volunteers – Action Steps Before the Program Begins

  1. Every Troop Needs a Cookie Program Volunteer! To take part in the Cookie Program, each troop must have a Cookie Program Volunteer.
    • This person must be a registered adult with a background check, have chosen the Cookie Program Volunteer role in My GS, and filled out the Product Program Volunteer Agreement form for the new membership year.
  2. Make Sure Your Troop Bank Account Is Ready! Your troop must have a bank account set up with our Finance department before cookie season begins.
    • If you need to open a new bank account or change one you already have, use the online forms on the Troop Bank Accounts page.
    • Important: Troops that don’t have a current bank account on file with GSNEO will not be allowed to pick up cookies during the first delivery dates.
    • Getting your bank account ready now helps everything run smoothly later!
  3. Sales Materials for your troop - Starting the week of December 8, Cookie Program Volunteers will begin receiving cookie sales materials via their selected method.
    • Only give sales materials to Girl Scouts whose caregivers have completed and returned the Annual Permission Form to the troop. This helps keep everything safe and organized!
  4. Hold a Caregiver Cookie Meeting! Plan a meeting with your troop members and their caregivers.
    • Hand out and go over the cookie sales materials and set goals together.
    • Talk about Ways to Participate in the Cookie Program to decide what works best for your troop.
    • Then you can use the Navigating Ways to Participate in the Cookie Program for Troop Leaders to see how the Cookie Program will flow for everyone!
    • Working together helps make the Cookie Program a success for all!
  5. Register to attend one of our Cookie Trainings/Overviews:
    • Cookie Rookies (1st year Cookie Volunteers) – Dec 16 6:30pm | Jan 6 6:30pm (repeat)
    • Cookie Captains (experienced Cookie Volunteers) – Dec 17 6:30pm
    • Cookie Byte - How to Submit an Initial Order – Feb 3 6:30pm
  6. Access the Sales Systems – Cookie Program Volunteers can start using eBudde on December 10 and Digital Cookie on December 11.
    • Make sure to set up your troop’s account and review uploaded info. If you see anything that looks wrong, contact Customer Care right away.
    • Remember, Girl Scouts will be uploaded to eBudde and Digital Cookie starting January 5 so you will not see them until then. Make sure your troop roster is up to date before uploads begin!
