Any person participating in any Girl Scout program or activity must be a registered member of GSNEO or covered by appropriate Girl Scout insurance.
Activity insurance is required for Girl Scouts taking extended trips of longer than three (3) days and two (2) nights and for non-members who participate in Girl Scout activities. These plans cover participants taking part in any council-approved, supervised Girl Scout activity. Activity insurance is mandatory for all foreign travel.
Insurance Plan enrollment forms are available by clicking on the
links below. Minimum enrollment fee for each of the optional insurance
plans is $5.00. If the Activity Insurance cost of your planned event
is less than $5.00, you are still required to pay the minimum
enrollment fee of $5.00. However, more than one event can be submitted
on the same enrollment form to help meet the minimum fee.
The claim form for an accident (Incident/Accident Form should already be filed with GSNEO) can be attained here. By completing the online claim form and hitting submit, your claim and receipts are sent directly to GSNEO's Corporate Office. GSNEO will review and forward your claim to Mutual of Omaha upon approval.
Upon receipt of the claim, the insurance company will be in contact with the member or their guardian. All claims are subject to review by Mutual of Omaha.
