Who Can Attend? toggle arrow

Any currently registered member of GSNEO may participate in council-sponsored programs and events specific to your current age level.

Do I Have to Participate With a Troop? toggle arrow

Girls may participate individually or as part of a troop. Adult chaperones are required unless otherwise noted.

Who Can Come to Family Friendly Events? toggle arrow

Family and friends are welcome to attend “Family-Friendly” programs and events. One family member is required to be a current Girl Scout member.

Are Chaperones Required? toggle arrow

Unless otherwise indicated, all girls attending a council-sponsored program must have an adult chaperone. Please see the Safety Activity Checkpoints for ratio requirements.

Getting Registered

How Do I Register? toggle arrow

GSNEO uses an online registration system. First time visitors must become a registered user by creating a profile and password. See the registration demo video below for more assistance. Here are the easy steps:

Go to “Event Calendar”
Choose your event
Click “Register Now”
Log in to your account (new users can create a new profile)
Add girl participants
Add adult chaperones
Process payment
Check your email for confirmation

How Do I Know How Much Space is Available on an Event? toggle arrow

Programs are filled on a first-registered, first-served basis. The online system indicates program capacity and remaining spaces available as well as a waitlist. When you are on the registration page there will be an option to click “MORE.” You will then be able to see how many spaces are available for each type of registrant.

I Was Put on a Waitlist; How Does This Work? toggle arrow

Waitlist openings are dependent on cancellations and are not a guarantee of being placed in a program. Waitlist participants are not required to pay the event fee. Waitlists are dependent on cancellations being received. If you are removed from the waitlist and placed into camp or program, you will receive an email notification with links to make payment.

Registration Has Closed; Can I Still be Added to the Event? toggle arrow

Registrations that can be accommodated after the close date will incur a $5 late fee per person. Please email customercare@gsneo.org to inquire about being added.

Payment

When Do I Make a Payment? toggle arrow

Payment is due at the time of registration using credit or debit card, electronic check, or GSNEO Pathway Pass Program Credits.

Where Do I Find Pathway Pass Program Credits? toggle arrow

Pathway Pass Program Credits can be found in your GSNEO ActiveNet account. You can view them from your My Account screen, under Payment and Order Management, then by selecting Pathway Pass Program Credits. (The section only shows if a member of your family has available program credit funds.) If you need help locating them, please contact Customer Care.

How Do I Use Pathway Pass Program Credits as Payment? toggle arrow

Pathway Pass Program Credits are added on the payment page in the discount code box. Multiple codes can be used; they need to be entered all at one time separated by a comma.

Is There Financial Assistance to Help Pay For Events? toggle arrow

Families that have a financial need may apply once per year for Scoutship assistance. Girls must be currently registered members to qualify. For more information, visit Scoutship Application.

Cancellations and Refunds

Events run rain or shine unless GSNEO determines that inclement weather would adversely affect a program. In those cases, participants will be notified as soon as determination is made of cancellation or rescheduling.

If GSNEO cancels the event for any reason or cannot place participants in the event of their choice, GSNEO will issue a refund for 100% of the registration fee which will be refunded in the same way payment was made. If Pathway Pass Program Credits were used as payment, they would go back to being active. Pathway Pass Program Credits that have expired will have refund passes issued.

All cancellation requests must be received in writing at customercare@gsneo.org. If you must cancel, please let us know at least 21 days before the event to receive a refund and to give us a chance to:

Have other Girl Scouts participate in your place;
To contact families on the waitlist;
To promote the event opening to other members.

We understand that life happens! A partial refund may be granted for medical or family emergencies. Submit those requests no later than two weeks after the program date.

Note: No refunds will be issued for no-shows.

I Need to Cancel; How Do I Do That? toggle arrow

Cancellation and refund requests must be made in writing to customercare@gsneo.org.

I Had a Family/Medical Emergency the Day of the Event; What Do I Do? toggle arrow

A partial refund may be granted for medical or family emergencies. Submit written requests for refunds no later than two weeks after the program date to customercare@gsneo.org.

The Weather Looks Bad; Will My Event be Cancelled? toggle arrow

Events run rain or shine unless GSNEO determines that inclement weather would adversely affect a program. In those cases, participants will be notified of cancellation or scheduling. For your convenience, GSNEO has a cancellation hotline at 1-800-852-4474 ext. 0128.

If I Cancel, Will I Get a Refund? toggle arrow

Participants who make a cancellation/refund request 45 days or more before an event will receive a refund of 50% of registration fees. Refunds for family emergencies or medical reasons will only be processed if notification is made before the event and is followed up within two weeks by a written refund request. No refunds will be issued for no-shows.
