You’re a force of nature, Girl Scout

Explore GSNEO Camps

We live in a world of screens—smartphones, laptops, TVs, tablets—and sometimes we just want to get away from it all.

Outdoor experiences are a great way for Girl Scouts to get out and discover the outdoors while building the confidence and skills needed to develop a deep appreciation for nature. Whether for a day, a week, at summer camp, at day camp, with year-round troop camping, or scheduled outdoor programming, Girl Scout camp provides girls with numerous opportunities to grow, explore, make new friends, and have fun under the guidance of caring, trained adults.

Girl Scouts of North East Ohio offers many fun and rewarding outdoor experiences including canoeing, high and low ropes courses, outdoor skills, hiking, campfires, and more!

More information on reserving your campout is available: Know Before You Go - Reserving Your Campout

Is your troop or service unit looking to stay overnight at camp? If you’re ready to book now, click on the corresponding RESERVE button above. A new window will open with the GSNEO reservation system.

Not sure what you can do at camp? You can work on badges or Journeys, go hiking, practice outdoor skills, or even participate in scheduled programming like target sports or low ropes (see our Program Guides and Event Calendar).

Before reserving, please note that you must have volunteers certified in both Outdoor Essentials (OE) and First Aid/CPR/AED in attendance at your campout. If you do not have volunteers already certified, training will be required prior to your event.

Troops can reserve their sites up to four months (service units up to six months) in advance. Our rolling calendar helps you know when you can book:
>>Reservation Open Dates for the 2026 Reservation Rolling Calendar
>>Reservation Open Dates for the 2027 Reservation Rolling Calendar

For a tutorial of reserving your site, watch the informative video just for troop leaders!

Council has camp properties that provide many opportunities for resident, day, and troop camping as well as host many council programs. The Summer Camp Guide, is distributed in the spring with information on summer programs, dates, locations, and age requirements.

Overnight Camp
Summer is Overnight Camp time! Overnight camp is a camping experience in which campers live at either Camp Ledgewood or Camp Timberlane. Girls sign up as individual campers or go with a buddy. The girls and their counselors/leaders plan activities, taking advantage of the resources available at the campsite. All summer staff are specially trained. Overnight Camp opportunities are listed in the Summer Camp Guide available in January.

Summer camp offers opportunities for all girls to safely have fun, develop new friendships, and build confidence via mastering new skills. Girls have the option to go for a day, spend the week, or participate with their troop.
>>Check out the great summer programs available for your girl!

Day Camp
Our Day Camps, Community Day Camps, and Twilight Camping are summer programs run for one to five days, and for no more than seven hours per day. This creative outdoor experience is generally theme-based, creating a common thread for the activities. Girls may sign up as individual campers or go with buddies and are put in units of peer group living. Council assists with training the staff and approving the facilities and site. A day/twilight camp may be at a council-owned or approved site. Day and Twilight Camp opportunities are listed in the Summer Camp Guide, available in January.

We offer a variety of fun outdoor programs to engage girls with the environment and teach them new skills! Girls can try the ropes course, zip lining, archery, and canoeing at all three of our camp properties. Check out our Program Guides and Event Calendar for more.
