GSNEO Properties Service Project Opportunities
Do you have an idea for a project at a GSNEO property*?
Did your troop complete badge work that gave them an idea for a service project to enhance a GSNEO property?
Maybe you're working on one of the Journeys and brainstormed ideas for a sustainable Take Action project that would be perfect for a GSNEO property?
Or, you've just designed the ideal project to earn one of Girl Scout's highest awards (Bronze, Silver, or Gold Award) and feel the project would have the greatest impact at a GSNEO property.
If this describes you or your troop perfectly, why not submit your idea to GSNEO! It's simple and easy to do. Complete the form below at least six (6) weeks prior to the date you wish to start your project.
From there, a team reviews the details of your proposed project and contacts you with any questions. Here's the kind of things the team will be looking for:
- Does the project fit into the overall strategic plans for GSNEO properties?
- Is there a need for this project?
- Does the project enhance the current or future programming for members?
- Is a GSNEO property the best location for this project?
- What is the plan for ongoing maintenance of this project?
- How long would this project last?
We'll contact you to let you know if your project is approved and provide you with the staff contact for your project. Once you receive the green light, you're ready to move ahead! It's up to you to finalize the details, coordinate the project schedule and prepare to promote your great work!
*GSNEO properties include: Camp Ledgewood, Camp Sugarbush, Camp Timberlane, Macedonia Service Center, Lorain Service Center, North Canton Service Center, and Youngstown Service Center.
