All GSNEO programs are run in accordance with guidelines from the CDC, American Camp Association, and the Ohio State Health Department. Please read through this page and the attached information packets to learn about the changes we have made to keep all our campers safe and healthy.

Ways to Participate

Please note that this is not a “troop” event. Girls must follow their track schedule and travel with a buddy or their group at all times. Girls must travel camp with their Unit Leader and will follow their track schedule. Girls in different tracks will not overlap. If a girl wants to attend with a buddy, they must choose the same track.

Overnight Participant

Cost includes a snack on Friday and Saturday evenings, meals from Saturday breakfast to Sunday breakfast, accomodation, all program costs, patch, and take-away item.

2023 Girl Overnight Schedule of Events
Saturday Only Participant

Participants will attend the Cadette Summit for the Saturday program sessions only, arriving after breakfast, and departing before dinner (8 am - 5 pm). Cost includes Saturday lunch, program costs, patch, and take-away item ONLY.

Program Activities

  • Girls will choose a track. Each track has up to 5 program sessions. There are no event substitutions for any track.
    • ­ Note: If a girl chooses a track with High Ropes, these programs take up two program sessions
  • Tracks will fill on a first-come, first-choice basis, and have a capacity of 12-16 girls each.
  • You will NOT be able to change tracks after you register.
  • Tracks have been assigned a sleeping arrangement. Your camper will be notified the specific cabin or tent she is assigned to during check-in.

All programs are 75 minutes in length unless otherwise noted. Please see the Program Descriptions to learn more about each program offering, and Tras at a Glance to find out which programs are in each track.

Remember, this is not a troop event and girls DO NOT need to sign-up for the same programs. This is an opportunity to try different things and meet new sister Girl Scouts in a safe/fun environment.

Cost

Costs is based on accomodation preference and length of stay for the event.

Saturday Only Participants

Cost includes Saturday lunch, program costs, patch, and take-away item ONLY.

  • $60 - Tracks 16 and 17
Overnight Participants

Cost includes a snack on Friday and Saturday evenings, meals from Saturday breakfast to Sunday breakfast, accomodation, all program costs, patch, and take-away item.

Cost is determined by site type assigned to each Track.

  • $75 - Tracks 13 and 14 - tent with latrine access
  • $75 - Tracks 15 - adirondack with latrine access
  • $80 - Track 9, 10, 11, and 12 - cabin with latrine access
  • $85 - Track 7 and 8 - cabin with flush toilet access
  • $90 - Track 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6 - cabin with flush toilet and shower access
T-Shirt Orders and Friday Box Dinners

A boxed dinner may be purchased for Friday night during registration, at an additional cost of $6 per person.

  • $14 for sizes up to Youth Medium and Adult XL
  • $16 for sizes Adult 2XL-3XL

Accommodations

Please note that this is not a "troop" event, so it is not guaranteed that a troop will remain together. No adult volunteer will be housed in the same unit as her daughter/members of her troop. Cabin/tent assignments will be given at check-in.

There are no requests for specific cabins.

Canvas-sided platform tents hold a maximum of four people with access to a shared unit shelter and latrines.

The Cadette Summit is an exciting and busy weekend, involving many people to ensure a great program. All adults attending the Cadette Summit must register. To ensure all girls have a fantastic experience, all adults in attendance must volunteer in some capacity throughout the weekend. No adult volunteer will be housed in the same unit as her daughter/members of her troop as this is a girl experience.

Adults are required to be current Girl Scout members and have a current background check on file.

Cost

Weekend volunteer ($20)

  •  Help with the entire Cadette Summit experience! Cost includes all meals and overnight accommodation on Friday and Saturday nights. NOTE: No overnight adult volunteer will be housed in the same unit as her daughter/members of her troop as this is a girl experience.

Day-only volunteer ($0)

  •  If you're not able to stay overnight but still want to help with this awesome event, this is a great option! You can still choose any volunteer role. Volunteering for the day only includes lunch on Saturday.
